Ppl were born in different ways and grow up while being given different learnings to have different understandings, and that's how our different attitudes and the way we can make different choices. So when we meet, we may learn by understanding and relating with each other's perspection. In short, that's what growing up is.

Glad they didn't write Himawari wanting to be a ninja just because she's got natural talent. I wouldn't mind of she choses to be one or not, but I'm proud of her for looking at a broader picture in society despite being in a bloodline of ninjas.

That level of freedom to "do whatever you want to do," hinders the growth of countless people that end up aimless. It's good to let your child do whatever they want in life, but the parent that refuses to forge a path for their child is not being a parent. Forge the path, and if your child fights you, then at least they have something to fall back on if they can't fulfill their dream.

... I'm only talking about Himawari-chan here buddy, not every kid on Earth. Writers usually make a character be naturally talented at something and be that something because it's fate. But if you're concerned about adults' responsibility on this show:

They seem to be already "forging a path" to Ninja for Himawari in this episode. They're introducing what it'll be if she takes interest in it. Showing her the option without pushing it to much that the kid would be repulsive of it. And does not overreact when she doesn't seem to like ninja life.

(Anyway, I just like this whole episode coz it's personally relatable to me.)

Himawari was better than Hinata in one episode than her mom in the whole season of Naruto. I'm glad they didn't model the daughter's character after the old version of Hinata.

I kind of understand his feelings, but that kids actions were very much uncalled for. When I was in middle school, I was so frustrated when people who did not take sports practices seriously at all, performed so much better than me in events, that doesn't matter though.

If she does become a shinobi, they already got their 3-man squad ready LOL. Love that himawari is learning how to control her byakugan. I want her to be a ninja, but looking forward to seeing what she becomes!!!
